COVID-19 Updates

Tonka Fusion Elite COVID-19 Updates

TFE Families,

Today, April 22nd, Governor Walz updated the Guidance for outdoor Youth & Adult Sports and activities. Much is the same with the exception of the need to wear masks while actively playing. See bullet points below along with the link to the full guidance.

  • Masks are no longer required for players in outdoor games and practices (while engaged in the activity). Masks must still be worn when participants (including coaches, referees) are not actively practicing or playing and cannot maintain social distancing.
  • All players, coaches, referees and spectators, as applicable, should complete the following symptom screening exercise prior to attending any training or match:
    • Do you have a temperature of 99.5 (F) or higher?
    • Do you have a new or worsening cough today?
    • Do you have any of these other symptoms?
    • Shortness of breath or difficult breathing?
    • Fatigue
    • Muscle or body aches
    • Headache
    • New loss of taste or smell
    • Sore throat
    • Congestion or runny nose
    • Nausea or vomiting
    • Diarrhea
If you have any of these symptoms, do NOT attend.
  • Players should bring their own hand sanitizer to training and games as well as an extra mask, just in case
  • Players should be spaced 6ft apart as much as possible on the sidelines
  • Parents should space 6ft apart from others not in their household or wear masks on the sidelines
  • Parents should drop off and pick up from practices versus staying to watch
  • Carpools should be avoided as much as possible
  • Team indoor gatherings should be avoided

We would like to emphasize that we are and will be following the guidance in force by MDH and the CDC. We do this in order to provide activity for your children. We are here to serve all players and families by providing soccer programming.

Thank you for your understanding and compliance!
