MLS Next Academy (AD) is for players aged u13 to U19 that want to play at the MLS NEXT Academy level with exposure to college coaches, national team scouts, and professional pathways at some of the most prestigious events in the country while also being able to play high school soccer.

The Girls Academy is a leading u13-u19 youth development platform for the best female soccer players in the United States. The GA is the only national youth soccer platform that represents the collective vision of member clubs and actively engages the voice of the players to take real ownership of the league.
Pre-MLS NEXT Academy & Pre-GA (u12)
Information for the u12 Pre-MLS NEXT Academy team will be coming soon. u12 Programming for Pre-GA is to be determined.
Additional Information
- Will TFE teams compete in TCSL leagues? No, TFE teams will compete exclusively in the GA and MLS NEXT Academy platforms. Programming for Pre-GA is to be determined.
- Why are tryouts outside of the TCSL universal tryout window? TFE teams will not compete in TCSL next season and are therefore not bound to the universal tryout window. However, our member clubs—Fusion Soccer Club and Tonka United Soccer Association—will continue to participate in TCSL programs. Holding TFE tryouts before our member clubs ensures the best approach for player placement and overall program alignment between the three clubs.
- What time will my player's tryouts start and finish? Tryouts will be 90-minute sessions. We ask players to arrive a minimum of 30 minutes early to their scheduled tryout session.
- What if my player cannot attend tryouts? Players are expected to attend tryouts on both days. If a player cannot attend for any reason, please contact Sinisa Angelovski (s.angelovski@tonkafusionelite.com). Current TFE players who miss tryouts will be evaluated based on their performance throughout the current season. All players must register for tryouts, regardless of attendance, to be considered for a TFE team.
- What are the season plans for TFE teams? Season plans will be announced prior to tryouts.
